Madhubani painting or mithila painting is a folk art form of MIthila region (Bihar) in India having a rich lineage and heritage of 2500 years.These are instinctive paintings showcasing symbols with intricate design and rarely leaves any empty space.
“Intricate Bubbles of Mithila” is my take on this traditional Indian art form on a 36in X 24in canvas. Each of the bubbles portrays a different symbol in Madhubani style.
